“Kanpai!”

Half a century of success on the European market: Mitutoyo's 50th anniversary on the continent was the central event of 2018 for Mitutoyo. At the end of November 2018, commotion set up an exclusive annual gala in Neuss for 600 employees of Mitutoyo Europe GmbH, the German representation and their life partners.
Founded in 1934 and based in Japan, the premium manufacturer for precision metrology has been represented in Germany since 1968. A review of the achievements and a gala dinner were the focal points of the celebration. The staging sensitively strengthened the sense of community, made the common road to success once again tangible and offered fun.

"Good environment, good people, good technology" is the company motto of the technology company. Today, Mitutoyo employs around 400 people nationwide.
The aim of the gala evening staged by commotion was to thank the employees for their commitment and to celebrate together. After all, there are many reasons to be proud of what has been achieved. "The company's triumphal march in Europe would not have been possible without the commitment of every single employee," said Shigeyuki Sasaki, President of Mitutoyo Europe GmbH.

Stage show brings company history to life
The gala dinner was accompanied by an innovative stage show. commotion brought tradition, but also Mitutoyo's unwavering commitment to innovation to life. In addition, dancers from the Fantastic 5 combined a captivating show performance with an audio-visual stage design that brought the company's history to life on stage from its foundation to the present day: live, audiovisual, interactive.

Between the show elements the guests were spoiled with a 4-course menu: The final musical finale rounded off the set program. Then it was time for the party: A DJ played hot rhythms until the early hours of the morning.
